A dedicated corps of volunteers works directly with the public and behind the scenes to help the Drake House Museum fulfill its mission by donating thousands of hours at the Museum. Volunteers who work with the public conduct tours of exhibitions, staff information desks, and engage visitors. Volunteers who work behind the scenes offer a wide range of essential services in administrative functions. From designing educational programs, to ongoing restoration projects at the Museum, we welcome volunteers with a passion for history who have a few hours to spare to work with us on any of the following: Educational Programs Grounds Membership Events Exhibits Collections Refreshments/Hosting Communiqué (newsletter) Docents Provide Historical Perspectives Technology Fund Development (fund raising) Marketing
